The Only Thing Guaranteed in Life

The Only Thing Guaranteed in Life is ‘Nothing’… So Act Accordingly.

There are no guarantees with virtually anything in life, and it’s especially apparent in times like now.

Equity Investors who were so gung-ho about the stock markets a few months back are freaking out now because of the looming recession fears.

But does that mean you shouldn’t invest in equities?

The answer is straightforward. “No”

Equity Markets have always behaved like this; there’s nothing new that we are witnessing right now. Although, the storyline or the headlines may be different this time.

If you have defined long-term goals, stick to the path you chartered when things were all hunky-dory. Don’t run away at the first signs of trouble.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed, which is valid for equities also; even the bank fixed deposits guaranteed by the RBI are for a maximum of 5 lakhs and not 100% of the amount.

What about your loans like the one you took for your dream house? You may be paying EMIs for it now, but is there a guarantee that you will repay in total? NO! You may lose your income because of multiple reasons.

After a worthy career spanning over 12 years in the corporate world, when in 2016, I decided to start my own venture, was the success guaranteed? No!

There are no guarantees & this applies to all spheres of life, but you have control over how you look at the situations and your actions.

The opposite of action is stagnation & being stagnant is no way to live this precious life.

What are you doing to continue to take action in your life even if there’s no guarantee if that’s going to work out?
